A rocketship takes off under the words "We launched"

On October 16, 2024, Dance Music for Democracy held its first self-produced dance music event, Beats for Change, a celebrity-studded launch event featuring headlining DJs at historic music venue The Mint in Los Angeles. Invited guests and the general public joined us for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, and positive action in support of our democracy.

The event featured performances by LA legend Kristina Sky (IG @kristinasky), the magick-manifesting KARMÅ (IG @karma), and DJ/Musician/Producer Duo Vassal States (IG @vassalstates). In attendance were federal, state, and local politicians from all sides of the aisle as well as more than a few Hollywood and musical celebrities, all showing their support for Dance Music for Democracy and our nation’s democratic institutions!
